Howitzer Head

Built tough to withstand the biggest rippers while maintaining a competitively light weight. The Howitzer Head was designed to meet the needs of top level players and newbies alike. Created with the thickest shooting surface on the market allowing for maximum power transfer into the ball. Complete with the maximum legal size scoop for all your flinging and scooping needs.

All Northpole heads now come with two new design features.

• A very slight narrowing taper toward the hit side. This feature enables us to create a stronger head for the same mass. By slightly reducing the overall diameter of the hit side we can redistribute material to increase the strength of both the hit and scoop sides of the head.
• A shallow groove cut into the circumference just toward the scoop side of head centre. This is designed to give the player an option to visually differentiate between the hit and scoop side using either stickers, tape, or a marker.
